Ofra Friedman merges together the media of sculpture and photography, both inspired by dance and motion.

She records with her camera fractions of time that communicate a message, captured scenes that could become future sculptures.

She sculpts human and organic forms with a semi-transparent steel and copper wire mesh, imbuing life into the cold metal. The hollow and light material enables her to create dynamic large scale sculptures or installations.

Ofra collaborates with choreographers who incorporate her artworks in their dance. In the US she worked on a project with Fuzion Dance company, and in Israel with Choreographers Rina Schenfeld and Yael Orni.

Her works were exhibited in USA, Europe and Israel. She received FL Cultural Affairs Artist grant and various awards. Her public sculptures were exhibited in Sarasota and Tampa, Florida. In 2010 she curated national exhibitions at the ARC Gallery at MOSI museum. In 2012 she exhibited an installation at the Florida Museum for Women Artists. Three of her works are at the permanent collection of Polk State College "Art in Public places".
